Bbq mural
Sketching out my bbq mural it has come down to be a landscape. This picture is what i have to paint. Im getting more courage and less at the same time in the process of making the plans for the mural. Less courage because i am currently helping Kaitlyn with her graffiti mural for her room and i realized, literally blowing up a picture for me is going to be a HUGE challenge. This is going to be my first time doing something like this. The pressure is really on because its not like i can pick it up and throw it out i have to look at it every time i walk out into my backyard. I am getting more courage because a weird feeling of confidence that i never really had with my art has me. Since we arent exactly done with the bbq just yet i have to wait until they finish to start painting. This gives me time to finish my planning and get the measurements in place. I found a really cool looking landscape i might use. Ill post my sketch of it in my next post. I should be done with it soon so for my next project i wanna work with charcoal. So thats what i am going to start with tomorrow. Playing around with charcoal and getting the feel of it is what i need. I am also going to look for some sort of still life so i can draw it with the charcoal. I should be getting my large canvas soon so ill post that with my sketch on it soon too!

Wow!!! This is going to be an awesome project for you! Wow ow ow!
ReplyDeleteTake your time on getting the sketch together. Once you do that, we can lay it on top of this picture using photoshop so you can really see it well. then you'll have to do a gridded plan, then a grid on the wall, then do the drawing on the wall... and THEN paint it!
wow. This is an amazing project. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
